This month’s blog features Sarah and Andrew’s dreamy June Strawberry Garden ceremony and marquee wedding reception.
The lovely couple enjoyed an intimate wedding ceremony in the Strawberry Garden, surrounded by their nearest and dearest with friends providing the music throughout the ceremony. The beech hedge arch was adorned with beautiful faux florals creating a pretty backdrop for photos while candles lined the aisle.
The guests made the most of the absolutely stunning weather throughout the afternoon and evening by playing the garden games that were set up around the lawn. There was some fierce competition and we love to see the theatrics and laughter a few good garden games can elicit.
The couple chose a banquet style top table, which has become an increasingly popular alternative to the traditional top table layout, and was tastefully decorated with posies of faux florals and faux pastel coloured candles. A sweetie table filled with all the favourites was very busy during the evening! The Photographer provided the Photo Booth which provided a lot of entertainment for the guests.

What made you fall in love with Ballyscullion Park?
We wanted a laid back, less formal wedding and when we went to view it I knew instantly that Ballyscullion park was the venue for us. The gardens in itself are absolutely beautiful and I loved the idea of having our loved ones roam freely, but also Cathy who we met for the viewing made us realise how loved the venue was and how well managed Ballyscullion was.
What was your favourite part of the day?
Apart from having the ceremony in the strawberry garden as It is the most perfect spot as it is very intimate, we very much loved seeing our loved ones enjoy the gardens, they were able to mingle, relax in the sun and play the games.
What would be your number one piece of advice / tip that you would give to couples getting married at Ballyscullion Park?
Enjoy your day! All the staff have it all under control and they go above and beyond to make the day run smoothly.
