At Ballyscullion Park we are the perfect location for child friendly weddings for a number of reasons.  The most important is how safe we are as an exclusive use venue, this means there will be no-one else on site on your wedding day other than those you have invited, the vendors and our team.  Our walled garden with its high brick wall, fences and gated areas keep all little ones contained and as is it is a large space, 3 gorgeous acres in total, they have plenty of room to tear around and burn off lots of energy all within eyesight of their guardians.  There is a swing and swing seat as well as the wild garden paths where lots of kids love chasing each other.  We also have no water features on site which takes away a lot of anxiety that parents have at other venues. 

If we know that the wedding will have lots of children, we always make the suggestion to the bride and groom to hire garden games to keep the small ones well entertained.  There are many great companies in Northern Ireland that hire these and can set them up for you on the day such as Kings and Queens.  But if you are on a budget, Amazon do plenty of games which you can then continue to use at home after the wedding. 

There are also lots of brilliant companies who supply teepees and toy hire for children allowing you to create a space in the Marquee for them to spend time in.  We also highly recommend Nanny Cat to help mind your children for the duration of the wedding and reception, she helps coordinate them throughout the service and then keeps them happy and entertained during dinner and can put them to bed afterwards too.   Catherine has provided this exceptional service at a number of weddings here and has always had rave reviews.  We also have a number of registered childminders on hand to babysit children in the courtyard cottages after the reception so that the parents can enjoy the evening ahead stress free.
