Carla and Jamie

Carla and Jamie

This month’s blog features Carla and Jamie’s beautiful strawberry garden ceremony and walled garden drinks reception.  The strawberry garden looked absolutely stunning with Kathryn from Kathryn’s Flower Barn bringing the couple’s floral vision to life.  Kathryn created an elegant floral display of white pillars topped with white roses and other white flowers with more of the same at the base of the pillars along with hurricane glasses and candles.  This created a really chic way to frame the couple and a lovely back drop for couples.  The bridal parties bouquets were simple but devastatingly elegant, made up entirely of white roses.

There were lots of lovely personal touches throughout the day with the couple’s friends performing throughout the ceremony and another friend providing the beautiful cake.

Photos taken by the wonderful Laura Parkinson Photography.  Laura has an amazing ability to capture the magic of the venue so well and the personality of every couple she shoots shines through.

Carla's Ballyscullion Park Review

“Ballyscullion Park was the second venue we viewed for our special day and it did not disappoint ✨ We thought finding a venue was going to be difficult until we viewed Ballyscullion Park – we knew it was the one 🥰 We met with Rosalind who couldn’t have been anymore helpful and thankfully the venue was available on the date we had in mind. Ballyscullion Park were always on the other end of the phone to answer any queries we had and made wedding planning run smoothly. On our special day, the whole team at Ballyscullion Park pulled together and made sure we had absolutely nothing to worry about 🫶🏼 Ballyscullion Park is just stunning and we loved that it was an exclusive venue! We couldn’t recommend this venue enough to any couple 🤍”

Incredible video of Carla and Jamie’s wedding at Ballyscullion Park shot but Conor from CMP Productions.  Wow!  We just love it when videographers take footage of the whole estate and not just the Walled Garden.  Ballyscullion House sits on the top of a hill with beautiful parkland gently rolling down to the shores of Lough Beg.  This stunning countryside inspired much of the renowned local poet Seamus Heaney’s work and we feel it always adds so much to a couple’s video and we love to see it.
