A Walled Garden Ceremony
It is safe to say that most couples book Ballyscullion Park as they absolutely love the idea of getting married outside. We have a number of outdoor ceremony locations including the canopy-covered Strawberry Garden, the Palace Ruins in our woods and the 3-acre Walled Garden in its entirety.
The Bride wore an absolutely stunning backless dress by La Bodega Bridal and a striking floral crown by Lori Muldoon. Flowers by Mee artfully arranged her gorgeous displays at the top of the aisle as well as the bottom of the aisle where they were placed on some wooden barrels. It gave the wonderful effect of framing the couple and the view beyond them, the displays were then moved to behind the top table in the Marquee creating the same dramatic look.
The couple brought their lovely little sausage dog Harley as it was hugely important that they part of their big day. We love having dogs at Ballyscullion Park as we know what a special role pups play in our lives.

What made you fall in love with Ballyscullion Park?
When deciding on our wedding venue we both wanted a venue that felt like “us”. We both love to be outdoors so the outdoor ceremony & walled gardens were what ultimately won us over but we knew Ballyscullion was the venue for us as soon as we stepped foot on it!
We have a dachshund (Harley) and we loved that she could be with us on our special day and mingle with our family and friends.
What was your favourite part of your day at Ballyscullion Park?
We loved every minute of our wedding day but if we had to choose our favourite part it would be the ceremony. It was the first glimpse of our wedding day where we could see all of our hard work and planning come together – between the beautiful walled gardens, flowers, string quartet & being filled with all of our favourite people was a really special moment that we will treasure forever.
Whilst getting ready at the venue, Rosalind checked in on us to see how we were getting on and ensured that everything else was running smoothly. This attention to detail continued throughout the whole day, which was a massive help in allowing us to relax and enjoy our day!
Take a few minutes alone with your new husband/wife to walk around the grounds – seeing all our guests together & happy was one of our favourite moments.
Don’t worry about the small things, the staff at Ballyscullion were amazing at keeping everything on schedule.
