June is definitely peak stunning time of year to have your reception with us at Ballyscullion Park. All the roses are now out around the 200-year old red brick garden walls and the weather is usually agreeable.
Our featured couple today, Rebecca and Richard, had the most spectacular day weather wise and their Photographer Mark Barnes made sure to capture them in all the most beautiful parts of the Walled Garden.
Rebecca’s flowers by Suzie at Florestina were a very elegant white and green with pastel pink and peachy tones which matched her bridesmaids’ dresses beautifully. Pampas grass was used as a dramatic backdrop to their cake which was supplied by Cakes and Bakes by Lou.
The decor and centrepieces in the Marquee by Love Studio complimented the florals beautifully and created a very dramatic backdrop to the cake for photos. The balloon arch in the entrance of the marquee by Cara Creations created a brilliant space for guests to take photos on their way into dinner.

What made you fall in love with Ballyscullion Park?
When we visited Ballyscullion Park we done so in February, the weather wasn’t great but the venue still looked amazing and Rosalind took us through telling us all the amazing flowers that will be blooming by May/June time. I could picture in my mind how beautiful it would be for the background of our wedding photos. We had booked another venue to visit later in the week and on our drive home from Ballyscullion Park myself and husband cancelled this next venue visit because we couldn’t see our wedding being anywhere else but at Ballyscullion Park.
What was your favourite part of the day?
My favourite part of the day was seeing all family and friends outside in the gardens having drinks from our reception, everyone approaching me asking how I found this place as it was so beautiful and how the drinks were so affordable. They were so amazed by its beauty and we knew we picked our venue well.
What would be your number one piece of advice / tip that you would give to couples getting married at Ballyscullion Park?
Don’t stress about anything, Rosalind and team will have your day running so smoothly, they’ll look after you and your family and friends so well, they really gave us the best day and we can’t thank them enough for all hard work they put into making our day so special! All staff were fab 👌
