Smoke Bombs at Ballyscullion Park have been one of the biggest trends we have seen so far this year. When we were first asked if we allowed them here, we were quite shocked as the name suggested some serious pyromania but once we realised what they were we were delighted to for them to be used.

They come in a variety of colours but we have found that most couples use the normal coloured bombs. They make for very moody and dramatic photos, especially when they are shot in Black and White.

One of the best places to use smoke bombs on the estate is up in the Palace Ruins as the mature trees and ivy strewn Bishop’s Palace create a spectacular backdrop.

Smoke Bomb Top Tips:
- If you are using coloured ones, ensure that you keep them at arm’s length so as to avoid staining your dress.
- Check the wind direction as this can influence where and how you take your photos.
- Invest in a good quality product as they will be better made and therefore safer to use.
- Consider your colour choices, does it match your theme and both of your personalities?
- Make sure to get a number of bombs so that you ensure you get enough photos.
- We recommend asking your chosen Venue if they allow the use of the pyrotechnics.
