At Ballyscullion Park, we love to have children at our weddings and welcome them with open arms. We are very fortunate to have the perfect venue for the smaller guests for a number of reasons. The main one is that the Walled Garden is very secure, there are walls on three sides of the garden and the other is well fenced so the chances of little ones escaping are minimal. There is also an enormous amount of space within the Walled Garden with lots of trees, summer houses and benches for them to play in or on. Parents are always relieved when they come to Ballyscullion Park when they realise that their children are able to tear around the garden while they have the chance to catch up with friends and enjoy a glass of champagne.

There are a number of ways to keep children at Ballyscullion Park Weddings entertained while you enjoy your day. One of which is to provide them with lots of Garden Games, these don’t have to be complicated or expensive, you can order some simple games off Ebay or Amazon or alternatively hire them from a games company. We have seen a wide range of garden games played here including Giant Jenga, Badminton, Noughts and Crosses, Croquet, Hula Hooping and Corn Hole. We have found that a number of adults are equally if not more excited about these games than the children are!
If you have a large number of little ones attending your wedding day, it might be worth investing in a Babysitter. Babysitters are wonderful for watching over the children while their parents attend the wedding ceremony so that they can focus on the important aspects of the day without being distracted. We have had a number of weddings where the babysitter takes all the younger ones off to one of the Courtyard Cottages after dinner where they watch a film and are then put to bed. This allows the guests to let their hair down and party the night away without any worries.
